Standing up for our heritage

The beginning

The beginning

The beginning

Save Our Statues was started by Robert Poll in June 2020 when the statue of Edward Colston in Bristol was torn down.

The aim was to speak up for law and order - as well for our history - and to ensure that no more statues fell.

The cause

The beginning

The beginning

The fight for our statues is part of a much bigger fight for the soul of Britain. There are political forces who want to seize control of the narrative by reducing our amazing, complex history to a single-dimensional one of wrong-doing.

The campaign

The beginning

The campaign

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of attacks on our history and to share ways you can help save it.

This includes sharing petitions, consultations and planning applications, helping your voice to be heard.
